SUCCESS! The 2024 Multiverse FunRaiser EXCEEDS its goal!

Greetings, fellow pop culture enthusiasts and philanthropic spirits!

We are thrilled to share the success of the Multiverse FunRaiser, a virtual comic and pop culture convention sponsored by the Cereal Box Network. This year's edition, held from January 25 to 28, 2024, was a celebration of creativity, community, and charitable giving, and we're delighted to recap the highlights for you.

Charity Spotlight: ComicBooks for Kids

The Multiverse FunRaiser had the honor of supporting ComicBooks for Kids, a charity dedicated to bringing the joy of comic books to children in hospitals and cancer wards across all 50 states and Canada. The Cereal Box Network, as the title sponsor, set an ambitious goal of raising $1500 for this commendable cause.

Charitable Triumph: Surpassing Goals and Making a Difference

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only met but exceeded our fundraising goal. A grand total of $1614 was raised, demonstrating the power of collective goodwill.

As an additional boon, a talented comic book artist contributed twenty copies of The Nebulizer, an all-ages comic valued at approximately $100, adding a unique touch to our charitable efforts.

CB4K President, Mark Weiss let us know that they received over $50 in donations directly through the organizations PayPal during the event.

Community Engagement: Amplifying Voices and Causes

Our call to action and video introduction to ComicBooks for Kids resonated across platforms, garnering over 2,891 views on various Facebook and YouTube accounts.

Diverse Programming: A Comic Creator Showcase

This year's Multiverse FunRaiser shone a spotlight on comic creators, though we had other celebrity guests as well. Our stellar line-up included Stuart Sayger, Martheus Wade, Shannon Farnon, Kevin Caliber, John Jackson Miller, Bob Hall, Jeff Johnson, Mike Maihack, and many more.

The four-day event showcased a diverse array of programming, including an indie author roundtable, an indie comic creator panel, a live painting lesson, a discussion on comics and WWII history, a live Batman audio drama, and a voice actors panel.

Crossover Episodes: Special Editions of Network Favorites

In addition to the exciting new content, the Multiverse FunRaiser seamlessly integrated special episodes of beloved Cereal Box Network shows. Fans were treated to exclusive episodes of Cryptid Crunch, Back of the Cereal Box, Cosplay Cafe, The Fanatic Forum, and Gilmore Sisters: A Rant Podcast, enriching the convention experience for regular listeners.

Heartfelt Gratitude: A Celebration of Community Spirit

As the curtains close on the Multiverse FunRaiser 2024, the Cereal Box Network extends heartfelt gratitude to every participant, donor, and supporter who contributed to the success of this event. Your passion, generosity, and love for comics have not only made a lasting impact on ComicBooks for Kids but have also strengthened the bonds within our incredible community.

The Cereal Box Network thanks you!!!

Here's to another year of creativity, camaraderie, and making a positive difference in the world. Until the next adventure in the multiverse, keep the spirit of giving alive, and may your comic book journeys be filled with endless wonder!
