Kelly had the chance to attend the DragonFall Charity Gaming Festival a few weeks ago, and it was a fantastic time.
She even won second place in the festival’s first annual cosplay contest!

The DragonFall Charity Gaming Festival combines gaming and charity in a unique way. The DragonFall Charitable Foundation operates year-round and teams up with various charitable organizations such as Child’s Play and Extra life, working to raise funds for these groups. Proceeds from each event go to the partner charities, and that charitable spirit shines through at the gaming festival.
There’s also an emphasis on community building, which is truly the foundation for most gaming.
The schedule for this weekend-long festival was jampacked with gaming tournaments, tabletop games, board games, a miniature painting competition, various hobby classes, and of course, the cosplay contest.
There was something for everyone at this event, which also had both Costumers with a Cause and representatives of Wisconsin’s 501st and Rebel Legion in attendance.
It was a great place to share some gaming and nerdy fun, with the backdrop of the lovely Lake Geneva and the historic Grand Geneva Resort as the location.
